I know this game has been out for a long time now but I recently about a month or two ago decided to get a Sapphire R9 280 and try out different games. I just started playing Battlefield 4 again as I got bored of Hardline (lack of content) and had been noticing a lot of (minor) fps drops and low fps thru out the matches. Pearl Market being the most obvious, it's a less optimized map than any other and when I for say look over the whole map the fps drops from over 60 fps to 50 and below. (In my opinion unplayable, as I like smoothness over jerkiness) I do have my FX-6300 overclocked to 4.3Ghz stable and due to this it seems that my CPU usage had went down in the game. Here is my setup:
1440x900 Monitor
AMD FX-6300 (4.3Ghz) at 1.4v
Sapphire R9 280 (Factory Overclock)
8GB of Corsair Vengeance Ram at 1600Mhz
Game Installed on C: Drive (can be moved to a different one)
Windows 8.1
So here is some of my benchmarks I done with MSI Afterburner:
On Medium at 100 Resolution scale:
On High at 120 Resolution scale:
On Ultra at 120 Resolution scale:
Thanks For Any Help!!
