This problem occured when i powered my pc after like 1 week vacation. 2 seconds after it starts booting up it just shuts down and then boots normal. At the beginning it would just continue in a loop booting for couple of sec then shutdown. I dont know if there is performance loss or something, but it has annoyed me for quite a while now, and i would like to get it fixed.

Admirable
The last time this was happening I had a pretty badly messed up pc, and it was one of the two problems:

1) My graphics card was reseated so many times that the contact pins have worn out
2) The RAM was a ticking time bomb, crashed on a regular occasion.

So then, start with a memory diagnostic, then take everything apart and clean it, maybe check the contacts. Last ditch thing to do is take all the parts and test them in your friend's system...
