should I MBR or GPT my hdd

This might sound like an easy question but I have just installed a western digital 1tb, should it be MBR or GPT keeping in mind the OS boots from my ssd.

MBR. GPT is only necessary if you are booting to it and it is 2T or more.

If your doing a UEFI install to boot drive then you don't want any partitions when you start the install. For a data drive you can use either MBR or GPT.

GPT is a lot easier to work with then. You'll probably run into problems with partitioning and getting the drive working the way you want it and all that jazz on MBR (I deal with Hackintosh and the MBR/GPT hybrid is a pain up my ***). GPT is easier to just format and create partitions, along with having it run the way you want it to.
