I recently built my friend a PC with the following specs
MB: Asrock FM2A88x Extreme6+
PSU: Alpine 500w
CPU: AMD A10-6800k
RAM: HyperX Savage 8gb 2400mhz
After a couple of weeks, during a game, the screen went blue/display stopped getting a signal. Since it hasn't output through the motherboard's HDMI at all with the following mobo errors
d6 (The VGA could not be recognized. Please clear CMOS and try re-installing the VGA card. If the problem still exists, please try installing the VGA card in other slots or use other VGA cards.)
99 (Problem related to PCI-E devices. Please re-install PCI-E devices or try installing them in other slots. If the problem still exists, please remove all PCI-E devices or try using another VGA card.)
which has confused me as there isn't a VGA card or PCIe device installed. I've tried clearing the CMOS to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
