Hello,

I will be getting the GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P and I already know that it supports the FX-10600CL9D-8GBNT and FX-10666CLD7D-8GBRH memory kit (from GSkill). Can I install both kits into the motherboard? If I can, then what will happen to either the slower/faster RAM kit?

2 separate kits don't make one kit. Kits are tested to make sure the sticks work with each other. You can try but there's a fair chance they won't work together.

I have a 4x4gb kit. I don't plan on adding another 4x4gb kit because I figure I'd just be wasting money. Instead I'd buy one big kit and see if I could sell me old one.
