Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: anywhere from 1-7months

Budget Range: Don't really have one but less is better if she can do what she needs and well

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Video editing, Streaming gamplay, Browsing, Watching Videos. Games like GTA V, League, etc.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Need a new motherboard, case, hard drives, and possibly cpu cooler

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (e.g.: newegg.com, ncix.com -- to show us selection & pricing)

Location: City, State/Region, Country - we need to know where these parts are being assembled and whether there are good store-only deals available

Parts Preferences: Don't really have a specific brand preference. Have only owned Intel + Nvidia

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire:Maybe (most likely not)

Your Monitor Resolution:1920x1080 but possibly higher down the road.

Additional Comments: Please if possible list as many parts that can be bought from Best Buy as possible. I know theres newegg and amazon etc. and they're great and everything but for my own reasons as many parts from Best Buy as possible would be optimal. Running quiet and cool would be great. Upgradability to some degree. She might like some LEDs in there or just have it looking clean I'm not sure but I know she wants the colors to match.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Well I'm actually upgrading my computer and using my current parts for her.

So you can see some parts in the partpicker link below.

My system:
i5-2500k
Asus p8p67 pro rev 3.1
Corsair A70 with noctua fans
EVGA superclocked 980
Corsair TX850
850 Evo and some other HDDs
NZXT Phantom Full Tower
Corsair Vengeance 4x4
Windows 7

So anyway I'm going to be upgrading my CPU, MOBO, heatsink to watercooling, PSU, Case, and probably Ram. (You guys can give me suggestions for my upgrades if you want but I pretty much have that figure out already. I've build about 3 systems before.)

We figured we would go micro ATX build for her because she wants something compact and she really likes the Bitfenix prodigy M case. I've never done a micro ATX build so that's where I need the most help. She would take my processor but need a new motherboard. I'm having a hard time finding an LGA 1155 micro ATX motherboard that isn't too expensive but has USB 3 and plenty of fan ports and good features. (There's none at all on Best Buy so any retailer is fine).

GPU - I was thinking the gtx 970 or r9 290. Lemme know if I should go higher or something different.

Hard drives- I would probably go 1 SSD and one normal 2 TB hard drive.

CPU fan- The a70 is huge so idk if it would fit in the case i suggested so maybe i'd go something like the h100i.

Lemme know if I'm missing anything or have any questions.

I already have the 2500k, memory, psu, and couple others things to use in her. So the main thing I had trouble finding was a decent micro atx board with an lga 1155 socket. I do like that idea of the low profile air cooler though.
