This may be a big ask, but I was wondering if anyone would help a computer n00b out by telling me which of these computers I should buy. I know custom building is better, but I don't want to spend that much without a complete standard warranty.

the cyberpower z97 i5 is the best one because it has a really good CPU and the GPU is decent. the AMD Fusion has the best GPU but the CPU is pretty crappy when compared to it. I would go with the cyberpower z97 i5

Best one? None. The considerably better one out of the lot is the CyberPower Z97 (top 1) but that thing is worth $675-700 (max would probably be close to $750), and definitely does not cost $849 to build it. Then all of them are armed with R7 250 <fill this part with a female's part and some dump> and still costs $800. Build it yourself, there is not a prebuilt that costs $800 that is good, not to mention over $1000.

P.S.: thebosscat007, please learn to read benchmarks and do research. A A10-7850K will have a worse GPU than a R9 270X, and GTX 750 for that matter. The thing is so weak it's the same as a R7 250, barely enough for BF3 at Medium at 720P which is a representation of weak.

I'll be honest, this isn't for me, this is for a friend who , despite all my protests, refuses to custom build. Obviously, these all aren't worth as much as they cost, but could you recommend any system better than this one that is still prebuilt?

Fails to beat out the threads in the FX-8320, and the amount of CPU power of an i5. But just about the right idea.

This one will look good, and yet perform better in just about every way in GPU power than any of the above. Just to show you why 99% of everything prebuilts recommendation are bad.

The build you linked looks sweet but it's a bit out of range. Is this one http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cT4kyc still good enough to run modern games, Battlefield, Crysis, GTA V, etc. at medium-high at fps rates higher than that of consoles (40+ average)?

You need to learn to read, the build has a 7850k and a R9 290. Did you even bother to look at the specs
