My pc specs
I5 3330
8gb ram
Gtx650
CM 450W

I m thinking to upgrade my gpu .Maybe a r9 280x or Gtx 970

If my current psu(CM 450W) can handle gtx 970 then i would go for it otherwise i might go for amd.

And also will my Processor i5-3330 bottleneck my pc?

Solution
Higher end cards today usually need 500w of power. People generally go with 550-600w just for some extra leeway if they wish to add anything else. AMD cards generally use more power then Nvidia cards also. So that R9 280x will want more power then the GTX 970.

That PSU is more designed for things other then gaming with high end GPUs. But in all honesty, I really don't see why that PSU wouldnt work at all. It's a well known brand Corsair who are well known for high quality continuous power.

I think you would be fine with that PSU. I see no issues.
