GPU fan at max on start up

Temp is fine idling at 35*C

EVGA Precision x 16 doesnt even see that the fan is running showing 0rpm

Ive restarted
I've tried taking over manual control

neither worked.

Could be some kind of bit-coin miner from a recently installed software. Open task manager and see if anything you don't recognize is using a high percentage of you cpu or anything else.

make sure the card power is locked in and the card is seated. if it not seated the card firmware if it cant read the fan speed on a gpu will default it to 100 percent to keep the card from frying. if the error not the card boot into safe mode and remove the video drivers and reboot if the card is working fine the fan should auto slow down with no drivers installed.
