i am looking for a budget Australian 4k gaming pc. would you be able to use parts from shops like msy, computer alliance and umart since i live in Brisbane and those shops are near. the budget is around 1000 to 1200 dollars

this is bare minimum, and would barely deliver a worthy performance. you could turn the graphics settings down a bit and get a solid frame rate tho.

i really cant recommend a gtx 970 for 4k. it will deliver a desirable frame rate but only on medium-low graphics settings. it's playable, but not good. turning down the settings to achieve a higher resolution is - in itself - contradictory. what's the point of having higher details when you lower the details?? :??:
