I wrote some java code and run it. In the Windows 8 Task Manager, in the "Processes" tab, I see the javaw.exe is taking around 30% CPU, which doesn't make sense, because I have 4 cores and my program should be using only 1. I right click it and press "Go To Details". In the "Details" tab it shows a sensible 25. why is the inconsistency?
