New here! Please help me find the components needed for this processor, or any guides pretty similar to my situation.

Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) (BX80646I74790K)

http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-4790K-Processor-Cache-BX80646I74790K/dp/B00KPRWAX8/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1432449996&sr=1-1&keywords=cpu

the build cost that I can afford is 600 dollars. I plan to use this pc on working with programming, android studio and a little gaming. Thank you very much!

Components I currently have:

Graphics card GT720

Memory 8gb DDR3

Hard-Drive

DVD rom

Windows OS

Computer Peripherals OK!

This will be my first PC build, any other components such as wiring and stuff (and guides) please

for a budget workstation, the i7 is overpriced. the Xeon 1231 v3 is a much better value:

also, with that money saved, I got you a new GPU, but you can take it out and save 170bucks.

Thank you so much, but the I7 QuadCore base 4.0ghz really does matter to me. I will do little gaming on this computer mostly just dota 2 and would not need a new graphics card. The computer would not be used as a server as well. The I7 processor is on sale on the nearby shop here. I really appreciate your suggestions and have learned a lot through them.

I will be using the computer in many different tasks. I will not be using it as a server.
Photoshop, Video editing, Programming , android studio, and etc
I basically just want a powerful Intel PC. that also supports Hyper-V and Hyper Threading.

I am really not good to the CPU, specifications and stuff. and please feel free to argue my opinion.

the Xeon is not just a server CPU. its basically a core i7 4770 non-K, without integrated graphics, making it over 50 bucks cheaper. it's a Quad core with Hyper-Threading, making it just like the i7. there are only 3 things the i7 has over the Xeon:
1. It has a integrated GPU. if you care about it, then this is a problem.
2. higher out of the box clock speed. the Xeon comes at 3.4 and turbo's up to 3.8, while the i7 comes at 4.0 base with 4.4 boost.
3. overclocking. the i7 supports overclocking, but you will need a more expensive motherboard to overclock it, and because this a workstation and will run at max most of the time, running it at a higher temperature then it needs to be it just a slow killer for your CPU.

Will the memory that I have work for this build?

if its just a normal DIMM (and not a so-DIMM), it'll work.
