USB 3.1 Support on X99 Chipset

A friend of mine is interested in buying a X99 based motherboard but in blue accent which ASRock motherboards provide. However, he is concerned if he would be able to install any USB 3.1 Add-On card later on and have this functionality.

So, question is does all X99 based motherboards support USB 3.1 add-on card? Asking to clear his concerns as I'll share the comments with him.

Regards,

Solution
The USB 3.1 Add on cards your referring to are added through PCIe x1 slot on the motherboard. Most motherboards now and days have at least one PCIe x1 slot. These slots are common for adding sound cards and other things. You can give an older computer USB 3.1 support as well. As far as the X99 motherboards a lot of them have support for USB 3.1 already on the motherboard itself.
