(OS + cache SSD) + HDD

Is it possible to split a 128GB SSD into two partitions, one for the OS and the other as a cache for a big HDD? or do you need a separate SSD to use as a cache?

The short answer is - yes, this is possible. I gather that you want to speed up your storage drive for gaming or demanding software?
