I'm looking into getting a better heatsink for my CPU, and have pretty much settled on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. The only problem is that I'm not sure if it'll fit inside my case.

According to the specs, the case is 210 mm wide, and the heatsink is 159 mm tall. However, this image I found on the same page suggests that the available space may only be 140mm:

Does anyone have experience trying to put this heatsink in a Cooler Master Centurion 590? And if it doesn't fit, what are good alternatives within the same price range?

I have a centurion 590 with CM EVO 212 - it fits exactly - I have like 15mm left on the side panel. Indeed if you were to install a fan on the side panel like the picture above shows then you wouldn't have enough space left.

But don't take my word for it, maybe there are different versions of the case or even the heat sink so just open up your case and measure how much space there is between your motherboard and the side panel. As long as you have 170mm it should fit in comfortably.

That's exactly what I needed to know, thanks! I'll measure it just in case but it should be fine.
