SSD Read Slow but Write is Fast

Ok so i bought a new 500gb samsung 850 evo because my old ssd ran out of space. i now want to use the old ssd for extra storage once the evo is full. with the samsung magician software i ran a test and its running fine but when i test my old ssd with the software i get something like 150 read and 500 write when they should both be around 500. does anyone know why this would happen?

What model is your old SSD ?? If it was not a Samsung drive, then Samsung magician own benchmark may not be accurate on your old drive. Try AS SSD, AIDA 64 benchmarking softwares for comparing your new and old SSD drives.

Newer SSD's usually have better performance. After benchmarking both drives, you can store game files to the fastest drive. By loading games on a faster SSD means games will load slightly faster.

its not cause the ssd is older. it should have read and write of about 500. it has around 500 write but only 200 or less read when i test it.. thats not because of the age of the ssd.
