I am upgrading my pc after 8 years 0_0 haha. I have a very tight budget but anyway I was wondering what fps will I get in battlefield 4 playing on lowest settings with 1024x768 resolution.

pc specs:
CPU - intel core i5 4590 3.3GHz quad core
Mobo - Intel Frost Lake B85 LGA1150
RAM - 8GB RAM at 1600MHz
Graphics card - Nvidia GeForce GT 530
PSU - 750W
HDD - 500GB Seagate

I have no problem playing on lowest settings and lowest resolution
I only want high fps. I might need a new Graphics Card

Solution
Ah, with the 8GB of RAM and the new CPU expect a stable 40+ FPS on the GT 530, and once you get the 260X you'll be able to run BF4@High-Ultra 720P

CPU is good but the GPU will be the system bottleneck here, expect at least 60FPS on the lowest settings and lowest resolution.

How much do you have to spend?, I may be able to assist you in picking out a better build.

Hi, I live in South Africa so I am using ZAR. My budget is around +-$590, Although I am using some of my old components with the new build.

The build should be good if you can hold out playing @low settings until you get a better card. But will this fit your budget?

I3-4150
H81M-P33
8GB 1600MHZ (Any kit will do)
R7 260x
Corsair CX430
500GB Seagate/WD

I can't find the exact parts but how will the setup below do compared to the i5 4590 with GT530 setup:
CPU - Intel i3 4130 3.4GHz Dual Core with HT
Mobo - Intel Frost Lake B85 LGA1150
RAM - 8GB RAM at 1600MHz
Graphics Card - GIGABYTE Radeon R7 250 OC 2GB
PSU - 750W
HDD - 500GB Seagate

My old PC's motherboard broke, that is why I am upgrading.
Old PC's Specs:
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66GHz 775
RAM - 4GB DDR2 800MHz
GPU - Nvidia GeForce GT 530
PSU - 450W
HDD - 500GB Seagate

I use to run Battlefield 3 at Low settings 40-60fps and Battlefield 4 at Lowest settings 30-50fps with frame drops due to 4GB RAM.
