Stuck on BIOS updating screen

I have recently built a computer for my customer and he is using the Rampage V Extreme motherboard. Even though the BIOS is shown as being the most updated version it keeps wanting to update itself without using EZ update or manually flashing. After it reboots, it will show a BIOS updating screen with no progress bar or percentage. The screen will not budge for hours so we eventually had to reset it. Same screen. It will not let me go into the BIOS even though the initial BIOS screen shows. I spam Del and F2 but nothing.

To fix it the first time, I pressed the switch BIOS button to switch to BIOS 2. Everything worked great when I was on site but it has only been a day and it started again.

No overclocking other than the 5-way optimization that comes with ASUS suite.

Any suggestions? Or is this an RMA?

Solution
What CPU and other parts do you have and what BIOS version is in question. Boot without anything except keyboard, monitor and mouse plugged in. Clear the CMOS too.

He has an i7-5930k, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, GTX 770 Classified, 2 1TB SSDs set up as RAID 0, and 2 HDDs. The BIOS version is the newest one, 1401 I believe. We tried to unplug everything. He does have a sound card as well, but I forget which one because I am not there currently. I'll go over there tomorrow and try clearing the CMOS.
