I am planning one wetting one side of one of the pads and then using the other side of one to dry. Is it going to damage my CPU if I do this?

Solution G G GhislainG May 24, 2015 The only criteria is to use a lint free cloth. You can't damage the CPU unless you use something abrasive, e.g., sand paper.
