Why does 670 suck?? It burns 750 ti to ground in benchmarks..
Horrible sorry, I had just been helping someone with a GTX 480 and thought that was what the vs was about which is why I recommended a 750 ti because that obviously outperforms a 480 in gaming situations, but not in a more workstation kind of setup. As for dominirican3351, "Don't listen to benny, those cards are still good cards. Out of the two I would say 7950 will be better in the long run if you move on to higher resolutions.
http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/550?vs=598 That is a benchmark for both cards. The 7950 is essentially an r9 280 which is still receiving driver updates, whereas the 670 is no longer officially supported by Nvidia. Before people start calling me an Nvidia hater, I have a sli set up and it is a known issue that the witcher 3 runs like crap on kepler and that there are no new drivers for Kepler at the time of this post"
He wants to play at 900p. Not 4k, not even 1080p, 900p. That is why I recommended the 670. Just because the 670 is no longer receiving updates does not mean that it is dead and should simply not be considered. I have owned many 670's in the past and dug up one from my garage and ran Witcher 3 on High settings with my 4690k. Avg 54 fps, max 72 fps, 48 fps minimum. Anything you have to say?
