Wipe SSD and HDD at same time for fresh Windows install.

I want to completely wipe my SSD and HDD together and reinstall Windows 7 on it. Can I do both together or what? How would I go about this? Im installing Windows from a USB.

You connect only the SSD and USB
Install Windows, wiping the partitions on the SSD as you do so
When it is all working, then you connect the HDD and wipe it.
