Hi guys I am building a new gaming rig and I want to get an Asus Strix 970. I read a lot of difference reviews and watched a lot of different videos about but still can't decide. Anyone who has it can you answer these questions please?:

1. What temps at idle when decent OC'd?
2. How much noise at idle when decent OC'd?
3. What temps under load(gaming) when decent OC'd?
4. What frequencies did you manage to get by OCing it?
5. Anything else I need to know?

I was set to get an MSI 970 but since the Asus Strix has a free backplate and since I'm upgrading from an Asus 750Ti which was very reliably and still goes strong and I trust it, I need some info for the Asus Strix 970.

Solution
I first want to say that what im saying here is from what other people have got from the card.

1. just like stock temps because of GPU 2.0 the card slows itself down when it doesn't need the power.
2. silent. 0RPM.
3. 60-75 C, it depends on the overclock.
4. most people are reporting north of 1500MHz
5. its a black card with a bit of red on the fan motors, if that matters.

After some research. I decided to cut down my SSD from 250gb to 120, remove some aftermarket fans from my build(which they cost a hefty amount of euros) and put the extra money on a Strix 980 but thanks :p
