UPDATE: Okay, it's all good now. My graphics drivers stopped responding briefly, screen went black, then came back. Everything's working fine now.

AMD FX-6300@4.2GHz
Geforce GTX-960
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
8GB (2x4) DDR3-1600
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
EVGA 500B PSU
Windows 8.1

check if windows update didn't made an update today, is it did, you should consider restoring your system to previous point.

Also check if your GPU driver didn't got automatically updated.

Any other software that you installed between the last time you play and today you might want to consider uninstalling.
