Hello my fellow comrades, i've abused a little bit of the forum because i really have serious doubts and can't make mistakes, i've invested a lot in my gaming Rig, i always had laptops and as my first desktop i really want the best (well, as far as my economics go). So i am really onto buying my second GTX970 and the EVGA 850w G2 and my big question is... Does my i5 4690k OCing at 4.6ghz Bottlenecks the SLI? i'm thinking about getting another pair of Trident X 2x4Gb 2400mhz having 16Gb total. Pls experts-senpai notice me and help me along with this other half of me.

Best regards

Great! If only there were more people like you!

"Does my i5 4690k OCing at 4.6ghz Bottlenecks the SLI?"

No, as long as you turn your settings up accordingly. You might have a CPU bottleneck if you play at low settings, low res or the game is really CPU intensive (like CS:GO) in which case you should use DSR (mmm... Renders at 4k/5k/8k)

On RAM, I wouldn't really bother unless you have continuously above 70% RAM during certain things. 50% or above is good (empty RAM is useless after all) and preferably you keep your page file small (disk is slooow). You should definitely look in to RAM if you run VMs, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Thanks, but somehow Nvidia just stopped showing the 4k res in game, i mean the game itself doesn't show it anymore (Like Diablo 3 and League of Legends) i used it a few days then the option wasn't available anymore. Let's see if having SLI shows it again. thanks for the support again guys.
