Asrock 970 Extreme4....beeping when my CPU gets to 40C

Is there anyway to disable the long beeping? When I start up Rome II my head goes from 19C to about 40-45C and the loud beeping wont stop. I'm assuming the issue is the CPU is getting hot fast?
