Hello,
Recently I discovered this problem where after booting my PC and doing something for 5-10mins my computer just freeze. I checked the temperatures and it does not seem to be anything out of ordinary, 40-50C which are nothing out of ordinary. I took out my GPU and booted through integrated Intel HD 4000 and the crashes are no longer present. I would appreciate concrete help/directions. Thank you all in advance, feel free to ask any questions.
My computer specs;
GPU = GTX 660Ti
CPU = i5 3570k (not OC'd)
PSU = 750W
RAM = 2x4GB 1600MHz.
Nothing overclocked.

I have disassembled my GPU and found that the thermal paste my friend applied on the GPU was over the edges and touching some connectors. I re-applied the thermal paste, cleaned off the dust that has gathered on the GPU fan and re-installed it back into my PC. Temp's are more consistently ~40C. Nevertheless, problem has been resolved - No more freezes.
