DVR details: CP PLUS CP-0401H1F-XU
Router details: TP-LINK WR740N

I have connected my DVR with the above mentioned Router via Ethernet cable. From past few days i am trying to configure my DVR so that i can get remote access of the cctv video streaming, for example, at my smartphone itself via the internet.

IP ADDRESS OF MY ROUTER IS 192.168.0.1

On the DVR side i have configured the network settings as below:

IP ADDRESS: 192.168.0.122
SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.0.1 (ip address of my router)
TCP port: 37777
UDP port: 37778
HTTP port: 80
RTSP port: 554
DDNS Type: CP PLUS DDNS -FREE
DOMAIN name: P*******E.CPPLUSDDNS.COM
(Any other information required to understand do let me know.)

So now, when i am connected to my wifi network i am able to access my cctv streaming using the DVR ip address in the 'gcmob app' on my phone. (not working if i am using my Domain name)

And its also not working if i am connected to my mobile gprs or if i am not on my home wifi network, say if i am on my friends wifi network.

I guess i also need some help regarding port forwarding at my router side. Under forwarding there is "Virtual Servers" and "Port Triggering" among these two in which should i try to forward the port and which ports. though i have tried to Forward the port under "Virtual server" but i guess i am making some mistake.

Being a novice i woud like to get helped from all of you people who can guide me through these.

Any further info required do let me know.

Thanks TomsHardware for bringing up this website and members who are always active and helping.
