I was thinking to upgrade to a Sapphire Radeon R9 285. Will this card bottleneck the AMD FX 6300? And if it doesn't what kind of performance am I seeing with this combo. Also, my PSU is 600w 80+ Certified.
then you should have no worries......there are a few ways to get a bottleneck, your motherboard and your RAM. A bottleneck is about supporting your CPU, monitor Integrate GPU(if it is built into the mother board) and hard drive. You are getting standalone GPU which means u plug it to the mobo and use aux. cables to the PSU and add the GPU driver(if it isn't already installed) and that's it

It should definitely not bottleneck the CPU. I would personally go with an XFX 650W or a Seasonic 620W power supply.
how much RAM you are using? The main way you can get a bottleneck if you have less support to your CPU...so...if you are using 6GB of RAM or below for a FX-6300.....please get more RAM.
