i have G41T-M7 Mother board i have one hynet 2 gb 1333 MHz ram that works fine with all ram slots. i bought a new ram and have following problem :-

firstly if i only place the 4 gb ram stick my computer starts and cpu fan and graphic card fan rotates but no hdd light and neither any screen output or keyboard and mouse lights are shown have two ram slots both work fine i tested them with my 2 GB hynet ram so there is no problem with ram slots also i know how to fits them correctly

secondly if i place both of them then m PC starts normally but when i go to system properties it only shows 2gb that mean 4gb ram no shown

also last time too i purchased and it was ging same so i ordered a replace but the replaced ram is doing same problem so probably the problem is something else

third i have upgraded my bios to latest version too

so please help me please !!!

Guessing the 4 GB stick isn't compatible, further guessing it's a high density stick (a stick using 4Gb memory chips), which is most DRAM made these days, rather than the the earlier DDR3 DRAM that used low density sticks (those utilizing 2Mb chips)
