With my birthday approaching fast, I have to give my parents some suggestions on what I would like to receive. I have mainly been looking at replacing my headset (Siberia V2's) as I really can't get used to the the lack of surround for gaming. Now im not entirely sure if I should get a new headset completely with surround sound (if so one for under £100/$160) . Or if I should get some kind of mixamp to replicate surround, as software I have experimented with leaves me with a horrible 0.5 second sound delay. (Here are some minor details about my gaming preferences) I mainly play FPS's therefore many factors are key for example; footsteps, distance and direction.

In any case, a 5.1 surround headset should be fine though.
