Need opinions on my first gaming PC?

$850 is the point about which I recommend a Intel Build over an AMD one.

I'd drop to the EVGA B2 750 watter ... the G2 is certainly better but since you are using the Hyper 212, you won't need the cleaner more stable power of the g2 as OCs will be limited by temperature. That saves $40 which should get you close to a 4690k / Z97 build.

Faster RAM is available at the same $60 price point.....2400 CAS 10 can even be had for $65

I made some adjustments to it. I was wondering if the Graphics card is alright or is there a Graphics card you would recommend over this one? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/82JyrH

I generally use the MSI gaming 5 with the MSI 970 and the Gigabyte gaming 5 with the Gigabyte G1 970. Makes tech support easier as the 1st thing TS folks are taught to say when they get on the phone is "blame the other guy". The MSI has better performance and a better BIOS but for the 1st time in ages, this week the Gigabyte board is cheaper. Head to head when overclocked, the G1 wins more battles than it loses against the MSI but the MSI card is quieter, has the fan cutoff feature and has less than half the negative reviews on newegg. G1 has 23% 1 egg reviews out of 394, MSI has 6% out of 411.

look at these

The SSD works nice for whatever fits on it. But that does nothing for the games stored on that slow HD. Suggest considering an SSHD
