I installed an amd radeon r9 290x 4 gddr5, everything runs wonderful however nearly every game seems to crash- the witcher 3- 10-15 mins crash (i understand this happens alot to other people)
Dying light 30mins crash
shadow of mordor 40mins crash
red orchestra 2 20mins crash
im trying to locate a crash dump file, but none are either made or im not looking hard enough

Mainboard-ASUS eK Computer Inc. M11BB
Chipset -AMD A55/A60M FCH
Processor -AMD A8 6500 @ 7000 MHz (max:7380)
Physical mem- 8192 MB
Video card-AMD Radeon r9 290x
intergrated gpu-amd hd radeon 8xxx series.

A friend and i tackled the situation, no beeping on start up, everything is plugged in correctly, he thought perhaps the gpu is too much for the cpu, (i would like to upgrade it to an AMD fx-8xxx series one) , the only other thing is temperature, i think my cpu is getting hot and turning off the programs , i saw it at 124f , im thinking that hot for a cpu to handle. (other games like supreme commander fa do not crash, along with far cry 4-even when playing for hours)

your temps are fine for your CPU anything under 80Cor 176F is good. what are the specs on your PSU? Also try dialing back your overclock on you CPU while temps may be fine the everything else may not be, IE voltage frequency, power draw...which can change when you put in a new video card in as the new card may stress your PSU differently. I recently had to re-overclock my CPU after going from two gtx 780s to two gtx 980s. voltage tweaks were necessary to get the same stability i had before.

if you never overclocked it i am not sure how your getting a 7GHZ CPU (listed as 7000mhz) which would also be one heck of an overclock...the default setting for you CPU should be 3.5GHZ.

I questioned that as well, i used a system info tool and thats what it said, i dont know how it could have been 7ghz, well i did turn the clock down a whole ghz and the witcher 3 lasted a lot longer than last time, i also used a temperature monitor tool and it sent a warning of temperature being a issue, soooooo i dub these crashes due to temp. (i hope)
