I was looking under about:support on Firefox and got a message that Direct2D acceleration was disabled because my driver was old... said I needed version 10.6. So I download the automatic updater from AMD's site and it installs this thing called "Catalyst Install Manager". Then I can't find anything related to it installed anywhere. I check the log and it says it installed... come again? I'm using Windows XP 32-bit... is there something in the installer keeping me from installing newer drivers for Win 32, or is something else amiss? I checked for that notorious Windows update KB3004394... it's not installed. What could be the problem?
