which Graphics card?

Hello fellas.

I am getting a 1080p monitor at 21.5 inches. I'm thinking of either getting 2 gtx 960s and SLI them, or should I get a 970?i can only play at 1080p due to the rest of my monitor. So which graphics card would be best for me? The gtx 980 is very high priced.my core is the i7 4790k 4Ghz quad core processor.
All help appreciated

Here in a few weeks a 980 is likely to be the price of a 970 or close anyway. (due to the release of the 980ti) I would not get SLI 960s.

Dual 960s are much better then a single 970. The power to run them both but they would be more powerful then the 970.

as IntelturtleFan said, wait for couple weaks..

next month there will be Nvi 980ti released, and AMD 3xx generation announced/released ..

it will shake the price a bit, u may getting better deal for whatever card u may pick..
(u may get better card for budget u have now)

He is still better off waiting and getting a 980 when the price drops. He could SLI them later on.

One 980 preforms generally better across the board. Except loosing out in a few categories by very little. (1 FPS on average) It will be cheaper option than SLI 960s also.

^ agreed, the one card higher tier is more better solution than dual card setup...
this is golden rule (tested/experienced it my self)..

the only time u should consider dual card setup is when u are constrained by budget..
buy one now, and later after months/years u buy another one....

I am in New Zealand so one 980 is like $1000 on average. With a gtx 960 being $380 on average.
