I have created two builds in PC part picker, an AMD one and an Intel one, I am hoping anyone can help me select the better of the two builds and modify it if I have any parts that can be switched out for better things suited to needs/desires. My budget is $700, I have a monitor and windows 7 64-bit already, It will be used roughly 3/5 for WoW, 1/5 for LoL and 1/5 for Payday 2. I'd like to be able to play those games on max settings with decent frame rates and with a music program running as well. Appreciate anyone's help in advance.

Hey, it really depends which brand you like more. I personally am a fan of Intel CPUs and AMD GPUs. If you'll mainly be gaming, I'd stick with the i5, since the FX's 6 cores won't do anything for you when it comes to gaming, it would be good for other tasks however, gaming tho, no.

As for the PSUs, I'd get the Corsair CX 750W 80+, since more is always better. It was leave you some growing room in case you end up upgrading other parts and you won't have to worry about it in the future.

And finally the GPUs, I'd probably say the Gigabyte Radeon R9 270 2GB WindForce, they are both pretty much exactly the same, however the WindForce does have that additional fan, so hell, why not lol.

Hope that helps man.

There are a couple of things that could change with your build most important of which is the psu as the cx series psu's aren't the best quality. Secondly you have a z87 board, when you could get the more recent z97 board if you want to crossfire in future or a h97 board if you don't as your psu wattage would suggest. Finally unless you will mod the case an NZXT s340 won't support a 5.25 inch dvd drive.
