R9 280x vaporx power consumption

So guys, I have i7 4770 non k, with 8 gb of ddr3 memory and the 600 watts PSU that came thermaltake v3 black edition case. The question is, is that psu enough to run the r9 280x vaporx because in its site, it says 750 watt psu is required. Thanks for all the responses

the PSU you have is not good enough. You will need 2x 8-Pin PCIe Power plugs to run the 280x (>250W TDP). Your PSU just have one 6-Pin PCIe. Don´t use adapters.

what CPU, motherboard and other components do you have?

a good 600W bronze (80% plus) or gold should be sufficient.
yours just delivers up to 72%.

i have i7 4770 non k and msi h81m-p33 motherboard. And i have just opened up the case and i have 2 6pins with a 2pin on the side of one of them.

Still not perfect but should run one r9 280x and your system with an additional 6pin to 8pin adapter or the 2x 4pin to 8 pin adapter, which is included with the sapphire.
