Phanteks TC14PE, Noctua NH-D15, Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3, or Corsair H100i?

To one of the best communities out there, I'm posing this question.
I'm building my first system and I've decided on everything except for the CPU cooler.
I'm using an AMD-FX8350 processor with a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard.
My GPU is a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 660 from my current system until I can afford something better (Cyber Monday is coming! In a while..)
RAM is 2x 8GB Kingston Hyper Fury X, 1866

The case I'm using is an NZXT Phantom enthusiast full tower case (black/green trim) with a clear paneled side window.

Now, I've checked on Noctua's website, and they do list both the motherboard and the RAM as "compatible" with the D15, but I'm still leery of it blocking the first PCI-e slot on the motherboard. I'm not PLANNING on setting up an SLI , but I'd like the option should I change my mind.
Would either of the other two air coolers have an issue? Or if everything will fit with a d15, will it fit with both the Phanteks and the Be Quiet?

Here are the factors that are important to me, ranked in no particular order. They're all important.

1. Effectiveness - I know paying 70-100$ for CPU cooling is going to get me something good regardless, and I'm definitely going to be overclocking some. I'm new to it, so not much at first, but I know for a fact I'm going to try and get it up to 4.5 Ghz or higher eventually.

2. Aesthetics - the entire reason this thread is here and I haven't purchased the d15 yet. I'm doing everything in a black / green theme (all green LED fans, green case interior lighting, green backlit LED mouse / keyboard) Both the Be Quiet and Phanteks come in black, which fits, and the H100i even has a green LED option in the software. Noctua, why do you drive people away from your products like this??? I AM willing to sacrifice a couple degrees of performance to have something pleasing to the eye.

3. Noise Level - I definitely don't want something with a distracting noise, and I'm willing to sacrifice some performance for a quieter experience. I'm also NOT willing to swap out fans that come with a base product, because the price tag for one of these 4 options is pushing my budget to begin with.

4. Installation ease - it's my first time, after all!!!

Right now, I'm kind of on the fence with these. At this moment, the choice would be the Phanteks because of its 70$ price as opposed to 90 for the other three. But I need some input on these, seeing as I've never owned or used any of them. The CPU I have now doesn't even have a fan. I know that this being a tech website, there will be a lot of people who will disregard aesthetics completely for what's the most effective (the d15 is the obvious winner there) but it IS important to me that the black / green theme be kept mostly intact.

Thank you for your help, it's appreciated!!

The cryorig r1 (ultimate or universal) is also a similarly good cooler. Pretty even, within a degree or so of the drp3.

Just my .02 on it, I was looking closely at both. It'd be a tough choice with both being of similar price. It became much easier when I stumbled on the drp3 with an out of the blue sale for almost half price. Comes down to whichever you like the looks of better if they're the same price, you won't be seeing performance sacrifices either way.

Considering you have a FX 8350 and since AMD CPUs heat a lot, I would recommend tthe H110i. But, going as far as the ease of installation, water coolers are quite hard to install (I still have a bent bracket holder). So in my opinion if you are ready to have a bit harder installation (its not that hard but takes quite some time) I recommend the H110i, but if not then take the Be Quiet! or Noctua (Noctua has a bit better performance).

The noctua does perform a bit better but it doesn't fit the color scheme. The dark rock pro 3 looks good in my opinion, I use it with a windowed case. All black front panel over the fins, black anodized fins, all black fans. Runs nice and quiet, something I don't think would be said for the h100i. Just make sure your ram will fit, I'm not familiar with the fit on an amd system. On a z97 board it fits fine over ripjaws x ram and covers all 4 slots. It's a 250w tdp design cooler so should handle the 8350.

As far as installation, the drp3 is a large cooler at just over 2lbs. Again not personally familiar with amd mounting but I imagine it's similar to mounting on an intel build. Don't try to mount the cooler to the motherboard while it's installed in the case, instead place the cooler with the heat plate facing up, apply your thermal compound to the cpu and lower the mobo with cpu installed onto the cooler (mobo upside down). So long as you go about it in that manner rather than trying to support, balance and line it up, it's just as easy if not easier to install than the 212 evo.

If you're happy with the looks of the phanteks cooler, it's also a solid cooler if you'd rather save some money.

I'm pretty sure I'm eliminating the H100i (based on noise) and the Phanteks (mostly based on noise + performance, and every review I've read says the installation is a nightmare...have to basically assemble the entire thing out of the box). The Noctua is still in the back of my mind as an option despite its looks... but now, what do you think of the Cryorig R1 Ultimate? They actually sell awesome color kits for their coolers now. And it's looked a LOT better than the DRP3 in performance tests, albeit it's about 6-7 db higher in sound from what I can gather. Would I even notice that, do you think? Their support team just emailed me and said they're shipping new inventory to newegg as they were writing the email, so it will be available soon in the US. again. So, between the Cryorig R1 Ultimate and Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3, which would you choose and why?

I did check out both of those reviews, and this one as well, because this guy is using the exact CPU and motherboard I'm going to have installed.
DVtests.com clash of the twin towers. He reviewd the Noctua, DRP3, and CRR1.

I hope I can find a random sale like that. I found one on the processor, which was great, so maybe luck will be with me again. Thanks for helping me!!
