where is the cmos battery located on a packard bell legend 100 cd

This an old Packard Bell originally win95 with a Pentium I Processor. The cmos battery is either missing or dead. I have looked the motherboard over and can find no battery. The BIOS loses the clock settings and some of the other setting every time you shut down. I need to know where the battery is located on this computer

Most computers use a battery like this

However, in the olden days some motherboards had a battery that looked more like this and was soldered on to the motherboard:

Many from that era also used what was called the "Dallas" chip ( http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8421/7828407020_3f39124800_z.jpg ), which was clock, battery, & NVRAM in a single package, soldered to the motherboard. Doubtful you'd be able to find a replacement these days, although there are some writeups around the web ( http://www.classic-computers.org.nz/blog/2009-10-10-renovating-a-dallas-battery-chip.htm ) that talk one through modifying one to incorporate a more modern button cell.

I remember these. I have one on an 286 motherboard which I just pulled form an old CNC controller unit.

It has a jumper and a four PIN connector to connect a external battery to the motherboard
