So I've been using my new Xonar DGX for a little over half a year now with no issues. Recently I began experiencing random sound cuts where all sound would shut down from the card (no equalizer movement). Restarting the PC fixed the problem temporarily.
Eventually I discovered that if I played music, paused it and then pressed play again it triggered the failure.
By some stroke of luck I found that disabling "Hi-Fi" from the Xonar control panel fixed the audio. At first I thought this was the solution but when I tried to modify the equalizer for custom playback it instantly stopped working.
Basically I can't turn Hi-Fi on or modify my equalizer without losing the sound entirely. Are there any kind individuals out there who can help me out?
