Does the GTX 750TI FTW edition need to be 6 pin connected to overclock

nvidea gtx 750 TI FTW

to get the max of of its factory output do i need to connect it to anything other than the video card slot or will it overclock itself as needed without a 6 pin connection

Very few graphics cards will run with their full potential unless plugged in, and almost all high end cardw wont even run unless plugged into power, so if you want to overclock and get the max out of your card, then yes, you should plug it in.
