Yeah i have a ghost computer or a i dont know computer. I have searched the web and i am finding a heap of forum pages with no real clear fixes. The only certain fix i know of it to disconnect my power from the mains.

Any tips on how to fix this would be amazing i have looked at the power options and there is nothing in there about a zombie computer that keeps rising from the dead :).
 
Unplug it from the router and see if it behaves the same way .
Chances are its starting on the network . If thats the case you will be able to change a setting in BIOS so it will not start .

Also check that its not set to check for windows or program updates at that time .

 
Listing all your hardware doesn't do anything. Hardware are dumb metal+silicon+plastic, is software that make them do things.

By itself? HARDLY, either YOU installed something new, OR the automated updates that you folks obediently have vendors do is doing a number. Check Windows housekeeping tasks, is it waking up in the middle of the night to do indexing? Go play tech support.
