I have case lights connected to my power supply that will turn on when I press the power button, but nothing else will show any life, no fans work, no case, cpu, gpu, or power supply fans turn on.

I tried unplugging various things and clearing CMOS like 90% of every computer problem thread says to, but nothing changes.

At first I thought it may be the motherboard because the case lights were working, but the power supply fan doesn't even turn on and I tried plugging my case fans into the power supply cables instead of through the motherboard and those did not turn on like the case lights did.

I had a similar issue about 2 months ago where my of shutoff, but when that happened the fans and stuff worked it just wouldn't display on screen. I did similar steps then and nothing worked and then randomly it worked again, no idea what I did to make it work again. I doubt that is related to now, but just want to give out as much into as possible.

I haven't had many issues, never have abnormal heat levels or anything like that. Really don't know what else to try at this point. Doing whatever I can to figure something out without having try and replace anything.

And no I don't have any spare parts to try and test out things, which is one of the biggest problems.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Seems like a PSU issue. Other people have complained about that PSU. So I am sure it is that part. Sounds like PSU crapped out as any budget PSU does.

Get a good Seasonic / XFX / Antec / EVGA G2 like these:

A good 750w is best.
