So I have not played Doom 3 BFG in over a year, so I thought I would come back and give it another go as it is one of my favorite games ever. My system is an FX 8120, 8 GB ram, and r9 270X 2 GB. When I go to play the game it looks like crap (smudgy looking textures) and I get lines and graphics glitches going on. It is fairly safe to assume that my PC more than meets the requirements for this game. Ive tried playing it at 1080, 720 etc, but it still plays and looks like crap, and the frame rate visibly dips. My drivers are up to date. Could it be an issue with an AMD driver that is causing this issue? Any ideas?
edit: I have fixed all performance related issues with the exception of screen tearing and it is really annoying T.T
