Hi there,
I bought a new Crucial SSD and wanted to install Windows 7 on it. After a clean install of Windows 7 from the Windows DVD, computer restarts to complete install. It kept booting from the windows DVD so I changed the boot order in BIOS to boot from hard drive first. I also have 2 WD DDR drives but I changed the boot order to boot from the crucial SSD drive first (which should have windows on it) and then the DDR drives 2nd and 3rd. After doing that and saving the settings I get "non-system disk, press any key to reboot" upon rebooting. After pressing a key it says "disk failure, insert system disk and press enter." Can someone help me solve this? The new SSD is the only modification to a computer my brother built for me and I'm not super tech-savvy with PC's but I can usually figure it out with a proper explanation.
Specs:
Crucial MX200 250GB SSD (New)
2xWestern Digital Black WD2002FAEX 2TB DDR (Existing)
EVGA 131-GT-E767-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 Motherboard (Existing)
Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield Quad-Core Processor (Existing)
Lite-on 24x DVD writer (Existing)
