My mobo is an MSI H55M-E32 and gets a blue screen of death whenever I try running it with a single Kingston DDR3 PC1333 4GB RAM stick (After selecting startup repair on when booting it). My PC works fine with my old Kingston 2GB RAM stick but not with the 4GB one. Please help.

Update: I bought the same RAM stick from two different stores. The Kingston RAM sticks worked fine on the store's computers but not on mine for some reason. The guy in one said my PC isn't compatible for some reason. Any suggestions?:(

Hi . Your 4gb ram is corrupt . I was also facing this problem few months ago when i tried to put an extra ram to my computer which was corrupt . Similarly , few months ago my friend had 2 ram sticks . each of 2gb . when i put one stick , it worked and when the corrupted one was put , blue screen of death appeared at the starting or sometimes it worked for a few minutes then again it rebooted and showed the blue screen
