Just Bought an intel core i5 4690k and a asus z97 Pro Gamer will this be a big change over my FX4130?

Will there be a noticable difference in gaming with my new i5 4690k over the fx 4130 im expecting DPD (courier) tomorrow with my new i5 and motherboard and will I still get bottle neck with my r9 280?

It will be about 60% increase in most demanding of games. Great choice! Im glad you picked up the most budget oriented gaming platform. It was NOT coming to the USA, but it recently hit market. There may have been enough complaints, and they changed their mind at ASUS. Have a great time gaming for the next 3-5 years!
