our internet keeps dropping. happens on all of our ipods, iphones and mac. twc says signal not dropping. we have replaced modem and router

Does this also affect devices that are attached with an Ethernet cable?

Is this a new problem, how long ago did it start?

Do you have neighbors near your house/apartment? If so, have you run a wireless signal analyzer program to determine the optimum wireless channels to avoid interference?

the mac is connected by the ether net. this has been going on for a month. twc has been out 6 times. no neighbors, at least not near, we live in the country

Since it also affects your cable attached computer, my first guess would be the modem -- but since you already replaced that it sounds like a TWC issue.

What results do you get when you run pingtest.net on the MAC?

How often does it happen and do you have to reboot the modem to correct it or does it just come back on by itself?

when the connection drops it wont ping, there is not pattern, could be working great for an hour then on/off/on/off for hours. the bar of loading just freezes then it will load at some point

we have tried 4 different modems, currently using one on loan from twc that is a router too

That pretty much narrows it down to a problem with TWC that you cannot fix without them so all you can do is stay on them until they come through. I understand the level of frustration that it brings, been there a number of times. Be the squeaky wheel.
