A discussion of Motherboard performance and the impact on the graphic cards.

So, I know this is going to get a lot of flack for this but I built a PC with an FX-9370. Yes I know, I know I could have bought an 8370 but it was the same price, and what the heck. Any who, I originally bought an AsRock Fata1lity 990FX Killer board and was using my Sapphire R9 280X Graphics card and was getting fantastic scores on FurMark. I was in the range of 4500 at 1920x1080.
When I finally cooked that MB from the CPU I bought the proper MB which is now an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R.0 and with that running I'm only at a 2700 score. My question is, what do I need to do to get the FPS up from my graphics card, and is it really the fault of the MB?

I am looking for BIOS options and I have tweeked some things here and there but what ever I do I can't seem to get the FPS up on this thing. Is there any suggestions?

I was using a Corsair H100i with the motherboard and down-clocked the speeds to keep the temps manageable. The CPU never reached above 60 degrees but the AsRock MB heat-sinks were on fire. They would run around 50 to 70 degrees. Even with the MB running hot the performance I was getting from my graphics card was exceptional. I know AsRock says that they figured out how to increase the bus speed even it being a PCI 2.0. I am just curious if that was the reason why it is lacking now that I have that graphics card in a different MB
