I'm not quite sure what the arrow pointing to/away from the PSU is supposed to mean. Ideally the PSU shouldn't affect the airflow in the case at all if it is bottom mounted. It will draw air from under the case and exhaust it out the back. So if you do that then 1 and 2 are the same and good flow patterns.
