Should I change the E8400 3.8 on Xeon X5460 or Q6600?

X5470 would be a significant increase over the other two processors. Also note that x5470 uses a 771 socket which is incompatible with any board than can be used on e8400. Q6600 is marginally better than e 8400 just becuase of the 2 extra cores. It will give your better performance in games assuming that e8400 is bottlenecking you video card.
